FLASH PROGRAMMERS
Would you like to build your own interactive game or fun application? Do you know Flash and ActionScript? Ecast is looking for a few stars to build cutting-edge new media programs for its network. This is your chance to build an entertainment product that gets into the hands and heads of thousands. Ecast is located in downtown San Francisco but we are open to remote development.
Qualifications:
Produce production-ready Flash applications on a custom multimedia platform
Work with outside partners, information architects and programmers to prototype and code consumer applications and games
Exceptional Flash and ActionScript development skills. This is a must.
Knowledge and/or experience in interaction design a BIG plus
Strong visual communication skills
Passion, imagination, creativity are useful; tattoos are optional
HTML production skills, PHP experience also a plus
Strong, self-driven work ethic
Portfolio of Flash, Web or multimedia projects required
DIGITAL ARTISTS
Are you looking to break into the mobile content, game, Web 2.0 space and want experience on your resume? Ecast, located in downtown San Francisco, is looking for a talented Photoshop intern to design cutting-edge new media programs for its network. This is your chance to build an entertainment product that gets into the hands and heads of thousands.
Qualifications:
Creating and designing artwork for Web and mobile consumer applications
Optimizing raw PhotoShop files for Web and mobile
Designing and developing Flash animations
Tuning and adjusting CSS, HTML and JavaScript code
Strong knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, or other design program
Knowledge of Flash for multimedia work is desirable
Ability to work with raw HTML and JavaScript code a plus
Creativity is a must
Understanding of interactive interface usability
Good eye for detail
Strong, self-driven work ethic
High quality digital portfolio required
Prior mobile game or video game industry experience a plus
Students who have part time availability welcome
Days & Hours:
We need a commitment of 24 to 40 hours, 3 to 5 days per week for 90 days.
We are flexible with your schedule, but whatever schedule you choose you need to be consistent.
