Full description:

Be a key part of the initial sales team of a well funded, exciting start up in the systems management middleware market. This technology is ideally suited for OEM system builders of distributed embedded communications compute devices and heterogeneous clusters. The product was released in late 2005 with its second major release in August of 2006. Several blue chip customers are already customers with serious interest from many global prospects.

A great opportunity to get into the company as the business model has been validated and growth is ramping up.


Education: Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred.


Responsibilities:

Must be able to effectively identify, qualify and close appropriate target accounts.

Responsible to develop revenue forecasts and sales plans for assigned areas.

Must establish effective working relationship between uXcomm and its customers and prospects.

Must identify and analyze account issues and initiate and direct uXcomm response to them.

Requires in depth sales planning and account management capabilities.

Expected to contribute to product planning and customer support activities.

Expected to operate effectively as member of company sales team.



Experience Required:

5+ years experience in sales of software management products required.

5+ years experience in sales to major system integrators and OEMS required.

5+ years experience in sales to systems or server developers desired.



Required Skills:

Basic sales skills.
OEM and system integrators sales cycle knowledge.
System management software product and competitor knowledge.
The ability to be effective selling tools and applications which by definition are "incomplete" as they are intended as reference designs for further implementation.


Desired Skills:

Experience in start up company or equivalent early stage organization and product experience.

Strong personal leadership by example skills.

Company culture emphasizes customer focus; open communication and data driven decision making; clear goals; and individual accountability for results.

Ability to travel.
