EPHARMA SOLUTIONS
Position: Instructional Designer June 2006 – September 2006

This past direct client role of Instructional Designer involved reviewing course materials and converting the content into E-Learning modules. The course materials were based on an electronic data capture program for the pharmaceutical industry’s various clinical trials.

After the first step of breaking down the content into topics and creating the module outline, the storyboards were written and submitted to the client, Bayer, for approval. During the course of the project the tasks and timelines were updated via a php Project application. The final stage was to input the storyboards into the web authoring tool, Lectora, in order to complete each E-Learning module.

ADP
Position: Web Author May 2006 – June 2006
3rd party agency: User Edge Technology

My role with this client involved the transferring of storyboard content into a Lectora customized application called Saba Publisher. Numerous html edits were required within the application, along with the creation of a user guide documenting the html editing/customization process.

BRISTOL MYERS SQUIBB

MERCER COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE

My roles with this direct client were two-fold. The first role’s responsibility was to create syllabi and course plans for online credit programs. I would record and report grades, deliver course content online, create and monitor discussion areas and chat rooms, and post feedback and progress reports. The platform utilized was Web CT and the course was Computer Concepts and Business Applications (IST 101). The second role’s responsibility was to teach and create non-credit classroom courses, course instructional materials, handouts, and quizzes. Some of the topics include Technical Writing, IT Project Management and Personal Project Management.

BRISTOL MYERS SQUIBB
Position: Instructional Designer/Project Admin./Trainer August 2003 – January 2005
3rd party agency: Spherion Technology

In this critical role, I was involved in the implementation of an HR performance evaluation web-based application called Performance Connections. As a part of the project team I was responsible for the creation of the requirements documents, test plan (including test cases and scenarios), process flow charts, diagrams, PowerPoint audio/visual training presentations, and corporate communications. In addition, I was responsible for the transition from Development to Support and the training of all Help Desk personnel and corporate employees worldwide. Project documentation such as Gantt charts and MS Project reports were created by myself and utilized for monitoring purposes throughout the project.

I designed and developed the software training materials and curriculum for a variety of delivery modes, such as traditional classroom, web-based training using Lotus Sametime, and computer-based training (ELearning modules). I supported the internal users via email, phone, online chat, web-conferencing, and in-person sessions. I was the central point-of-contact for Remedy issues for the support team and developers, the Help Desk analysts and supervisors, the Human Resources Design Team, and International users in need of Employee Pin Resets (via SAP).

THE HOBART WEST GROUP
Positions: Instructional Designer/Admin./Trainer August 2001 – March 2003

There were 3 main projects that guided my various roles with this full-time employer. The first project was a PeopleSoft 8.0 Upgrade Project for all company branches. I was responsible for testing the application before rollout and training and support after rollout. I was involved in project team meetings and the project transition plan from Development to Support. I also set up PeopleSoft tables, performed data mapping, created manuals, policy and procedure guides, and employee training manuals.

The second project was the Windows XP Upgrade Project and Windows 2000 Upgrade Project for all branches from “green screen” terminals. In this role I was responsible for gathering current computer settings and documenting in report format, in addition to supporting users during the transition.

The final project was the Help Desk implementation project where I researched applications available on the market, summarized them in report format, and presented them to top management. Ultimately, a sole product (Track It!) was purchased. I then configured and implemented the application, then trained other co-workers on how to use the application. I was then responsible for creating all training programs and materials, responding to all support calls, and conducting all software and hardware training for new and current employees.

In addition, I also created forms, pamphlets, and brochures for the Training Department and trained all corporate employees, as needed or requested, on Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office (all products), basic Windows and computer skills, and the Cisco IP 7960 phone system.
