Our web start-up in Santa Monica is looking for very computer savvy people to work from home researching and loading video links in to our database from the internet. You will need a PC or Mac and broadband connection. Your computer will need to play Flash, Quicktime, Real Player, WMP.
The task will involve digging through assigned websites for learning videos, appropriately indexing category/subcategory designations, creating and loading screengrab images. Although we view this as a data entry assignment, you need to be extremely agile on the computer, good at searching for, and finding information on the internet, and have a librarian's passion for elegant order/taxonomy. Do you love to surf the net; are you intellectually curious and an organizational fiend; do you wish to help build a smart young web start up? If so, we want you. Pay is $2 per entry. Candidates must be able to devote at least 25 hours a week to loading entries.
To learn the process, we will need you to come to our office in Santa Monica for two hours so that we can meet you and outline the task requirements. We will ask that you load in five entries that we can mutually review. After that, you can work from home.
