The First 30 Days (www.first30days.com), a New York City-based media company focused on helping people through the crucial period following any life change, is looking for some experienced freelance writers to join our team. You will be responsible for writing and researching all the content surrounding complete life change topics (expert interviews, a feature story, email tips and resources) and adhering to specific site guidelines.
Freelancers will have the opportunity to write for various life changes in our launch categories—career, diet & fitness, family, finances, health, home, relationships and new directions. Topics include living more green; handling your finances; finding your life partner; improving your sex life; starting your own business; achieving your dream weight; grieving the loss of a loved one; getting through a divorce; being a new mom; being a new dad; enjoying retirement; switching from a PC to a Mac; buying the home you love; identifying and pursuing your dreams; succeeding at being a working mom; enjoying your pregnancy; moving to a new city; celebrating your empty nest; landing the perfect job; living more spiritually; becoming debt free; raising an autistic child; starting college; and planning a wedding.
Only apply if you are a responsible, experienced writer, researcher and interviewer with a track record of producing quality work on tight deadlines. Bonus points for writers with experience writing for self-help titles, inspirational content and blogs on the subject.
