We are seeking a PR Generalist to join our team. You will work closely with the President and CEO of the company to manage PR for client projects and projects that are internal to smith marketing group. Often times, you will be expected to work with little or no direction, so it's very important that you have experience in, and ability to, perform the following job duties:
Writing and distributing press releases
Creating media list
Conducting Media follow-up
Writing articles and pitching them to the media
Creating PR Plans - including speaking and tradeshow opportunities
Executing PR plans
Writing newsletters
Writing copy for web sites and direct mail campaigns
Tracking clips, creating clip books, and presenting them to clients
Attending client meetings
