Online Merchandising Manager
Position Summary:
We seek an Online Merchandising Manager to join our team and support our expanding eCommerce business. You will be responsible for the day-to-day merchandising performance of our online product selection.
You will develop, execute and measure merchandising programs, and recommend changes based on findings.
You will also project manage marketing projects as necessary.
This position reports to the Online Marketing Manager.
Responsibilities:
*Develop creative concepts (copywriting, graphic direction, etc) for on site campaigns and promotions.
*Schedule and determine content for email marketing campaigns.
*Analyze market information generated by emails and utilizes the results of investigation and analysis to make effective strategic decisions and campaign adjustments.
*Project manage a team of internal staff and off site consultants
*Understand the competition, identify opportunities and challenges for current and future business, communicate competitive data to the organization to recommend changes
*Recommend website changes and modifications that will attract more customers, increase sales and improve customer satisfaction. *Work collaboratively with the IT team to ensure website modifications are clearly communicated and meet the desired objectives
*Provide monthly and weekly merchandising results reports.
Qualifications
Required:
*Online Merchandising
*Excellent written communication skills, with a specific ability to write merchandising-related copy
*Project management
*Excel proficiency
*Must be able to meet project deadlines
*Fast learner, problem solver, and loves a challenge
*Patient, excellent attention to detail and follow through
*Ability to juggle many projects at one time
Pluses:
*Email merchandising
*Experience with an enterprise website analytics tool (Omniture, Coremetrics, Hitbox, etc.) in an eCommerce environment
*Market and trend knowledge of the online retail market
*Setting Pay Per Click (PPC) strategic direction
