GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
As a Sales and Service Engineer, you will be part of the Sales and Marketing team and will have a primary responsibility for providing support to our distribution channels and customers for our Computed Radiography (CR) products. Secondary responsibilities include installation, service and application training, troubleshooting, phone support and relationship management. This position requires up to 90% travel.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Sales and Service support to our distribution channels and customers
-Service and application training at a customer site and in a classroom environment
-Equipment installation
-Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, computer, network or x-ray based problems
-Provide phone support as well as 24 hour on-call support
-Track, report and resolve issues per established company guidelines
-Manage and maintain after contract relationships including sales and product training, technical coordination, applications, product demonstrations and industry trade shows
-Coordinate customer support for new or modified product requests
-Manage customer escalations and complaints as appropriate. Proactively review complaints and suggestions relative to improvement opportunities
-Work across functional boundaries to drive customer satisfaction
-Demonstrated ability to work independently
-Domestic and International Travel (90%) including overnight stays
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
-Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field
-Medical device (X-ray) technology, service, applications and sales experience
-Strong technical and commercial background in the healthcare industry
-Experience with PACS, Medical Imaging, DICOM and Radiology Workflow
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
-Any computer and networking skills
-Any database knowledge and experience
-Certified ARRT
-Demonstrated leadership, motivational and negotiating skills
-Analytical and problem solving skills
-Pro-active, independent, self-motivated, multi-tasking and deadline oriented
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Excellent team player
-Candidate should have proven ability to work in a highly matrixed organization
-Strong PC user (Excel/Word/PowerPoint)
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position does not include direct supervisory responsibilities.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for long periods of time in a desk based setting and utilize a computer. Heavy lifting may also be encountered during installation. In addition the employee is required to travel both domestically and internationally.
